Since the Charity Shop opened in 2011, the Trust has been able to provide £68,265.71 of grant support to organisations and individuals in the village. The organisations supported include Friends of Castle School, Stoke Band, Stoke Working Men’s Club, the Brownies and the Guides, Hamdon Youth Group and the Youth Club, Stoke Gardening Club, The Lighthouse Cafe, Stoke Lunch Club, Stanchester PTFA, Friends of Ham Hill, the Memorial Hall, the Stoke Youth and Senior football clubs, the Boys Brigade, Tiny Turrets and Norton School. This is a tremendous story. All the volunteers who make the Charity Shop, the May Fayre and the Trust successful can be very proud of this success and their contribution to it through their hard work and commitment.
